This policy explains what information onday (“we”, “us”) collects when you use the onday digital-signage service at onday.uk, how we use it, and the choices you have.
When you create a workspace we collect your name, email address, workspace name, and a hashed password. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are handled by our payment processor (Stripe) — we never see or store your full card number.
Images, video, and links you add to play on your screens are stored so we can deliver them to your devices. This content is private to your workspace.
To operate the service we store the screens you pair, their names, status (online/offline), last-seen time, and the pairing/device tokens used to authenticate a screen.
We collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) to run and secure the service, and a session cookie to keep you signed in.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your uploaded content for advertising.
We use a single essential session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time, but you’ll be signed out.
We share data only with providers that help us run onday, under contract and only as needed:
We keep your account and content for as long as your workspace is active. If you delete content or close your workspace, we remove the associated data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records to meet legal or accounting obligations.
Passwords are hashed, traffic is encrypted with TLS, and access to screens is token-based and scoped to your workspace. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email [email protected] and we’ll respond within a reasonable time.
onday is a business tool and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll post the new version here and update the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated to workspace owners.
