Schools already have screens: a TV in reception, a display outside the hall, a monitor in the staff room. Most of them show the same slide for a term because changing it means finding a USB stick and a ladder.

onday turns those screens into one managed network. Office staff update a notice from their desk and it appears on every screen within seconds. Nobody has to touch the TV again.

Emergency messages

Send a full-screen message to every screen at once. It replaces whatever is playing within about 15 seconds and normal content returns when you stop it.

Timetabled content

Schedule by day and time: breakfast club in the morning, lunch menus at midday, club reminders after the last bell.

Staff can contribute

Invite colleagues as Editor or Viewer. Departments update their own notices while IT keeps admin control.

Use existing TVs

Runs on smart TVs, Android TV boxes, Apple TV, iPads and any browser, so there is no new hardware to buy.

Groups of screens

Put corridor screens in one group and reception in another. Change a group schedule once and every screen in it follows.

Multi-site ready

Run several buildings or campuses from one account, each screen scheduled on its own.

What schools put on their screens

  1. Daily notices, room changes and cover arrangements
  2. Term dates, parents’ evenings and open-day reminders
  3. Sports results, house points and student achievements
  4. Lunch menus and allergen information in the canteen
  5. Welcome messages for visitors in reception
  6. Google Slides made by students or staff, shown live

Built for a small IT team

Each screen is paired with a short code and then managed remotely. The dashboard shows which screens are online, so you can spot a TV that has been unplugged without walking the corridors.

On Android devices you can set timers to switch screens off in the evening and back on before school, and put a device into kiosk mode so it starts the player by itself after a power cut.

A budget you can predict

Most signage platforms charge per screen each month, which gets expensive across a school. onday is a flat price per account: one screen is free, 10 screens are $19 a month and 50 screens are $49 a month.
